Amazing capture! That looks like a big/spiky fish (I'm still guessing the last sunlight that sunfish ever saw?) tossed and staring down its captor's throat here! The Anhinga (a tan-throated female I believe.) must have been hungry, but I'm sure the Sunfish had other plans than becoming lunch! So could she really manage to win the battle and gulp that whole thing down entirely okay?? Does the fish put up a good fight, if eaten, does the unlucky prey get swallowed wriggling all the way as well?!
