This July sky in 2013 in Florida carries with it growing cumulus clouds, bearing rain showers and thunderstorms. During the rainy season here the storms move from the areas inland out to the Gulf of Mexico, until even the barrier islands, such as Longboat Key and Siesta Key, feel the cooling punch of these powerful storms.
