The Brandywine Creek (also called the Brandywine River), is a branch of the Christina River in southeastern Pennsylvania, and northern Delaware, USA. The creek in this photo is at the Brandywine River Museum, home to the Wyeth family of artists and many other notable painters. This river has played a major role in the US history, including battles during the American Revolution, provided power for the DuPont gunpowder mill and other mills that helped develop American industry before the introduction of steam power. The river ultimately empties into the Delaware River at Wilmington, and the Bay enters the Delaware Bay and eventually Atlantic Ocean. Our family has kayaked and canoed on this river.
Looking for the perfect capture remains my quest. To that effect, roaming about with a motor home seems a perfect fit. My wife and dogs and I will be out there whenever possible to capture the views available, and those unique moments to share with our friends and family. Join us in this quest.
