The Canadian province of PEI has adopted the lady’s slipper as the its floral emblem. This flower is found across the globe, distributed among five genera. This particular photograph was obtained at Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, United States in the Brandywine Creek Valley.
