Description
This Siberian husky puppy is Lupe (pronounced loopee). He was one of our five huskies we once had at the same time. Talk of going a little crazy! Huskies, as beautiful as they are, tend to be very wild, prefer to run, and often run off, if given the opportunity. We would get calls from neighbors 2 or 3 miles away to retrieve them from their picnic. Huskies are known to be closer to wolves than most other domesticated dogs. That is what intrigued us. The other problem with these gorgeous creatures is that they shed, and shed, and shed. Every year they blew their undercoat, providing nesting material for every bird within a mile of our house. They are best kept as outside dogs, providing you have the space and proper fencing. They do not mind living outside.
